This website is intended to provide information for people shopping our products and accessing our services, including making purchases via our website and registering on our database to receive e-mails from us.

Kilwell reserves the right to make changes to the content and prices on this site at any time and without notice.

Placing an order with us

Each order placed for products through the site that we accept results in a separate binding agreement between you and Kilwell for the supply of those products.

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received and accepted your order, which indicates that a contract has been made between us. We will take payment from you when we accept your order. In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, we will refund your payment to the account it originated from, and advise you that the goods are no longer available.

An order is placed on our website by adding a product to the shopping cart and proceeding through our checkout process. The checkout process includes selecting your preferred retailer from our dealer network, giving us delivery and any other relevant details for your order, entering payment information and submitting your order. The final step consists of a confirmation page with full details of your order, which you are able to print as a receipt of your order. We will then email you with confirmation that your order has been received.

We reserve the right at our sole discretion to refuse or cancel any orders.

Please note that some items can only be collected from our participating dealers. These items are clearly marked as such on the web site.

When you have completed your transaction our name, Kilwell Sports Ltd will appear as the transaction reference on your credit card statement.

Lay-by is not available through the web site but may be offered in store by one of our participating dealers.

We want you to have a safe and secure shopping experience online.

Kilwell Sports Ltd uses the DPS Payment Express Payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions. DPS processes online credit card transactions securely for thousands of merchants globally, providing a safe and secure online payment service.

• Payments are processed in real-time.

• DPS have bank grade security. All transaction details are stored in their PCI-DSS compliant data centre.
• Kilwell Sports Ltd does not have access to your full card number, this credit card payment is secured by DPS.
• DPS Payment Express Software is certified with over 200 banks globally.

Pricing

All prices listed on the Kilwell website are subject to change without notice and by default are for New Zealand customers displayed and billed in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of GST.

Ownership, Delivery and Delivery Charges

When your order leaves our premises ownership passes to you.

We deliver to New Zealand physical addresses ONLY –  not PO Box numbers.

Our freight suppliers in New Zealand are:

• For courier parcels – Post Haste.
  North Island – please allow 3 working days, plus an extra day for rural deliveries.
  South Island – please allow 4 working days plus an extra day for rural deliveries.
• For larger/longer items – Toll.
  North Island – please allow 4 working days plus an extra day for rural deliveries.
  South Island – please allow 5 working days plus an extra day for rural deliveries.
  Dangerous Goods Ammunition class 1.4s – please allow up to 14 days as these goods are restricted freight.

Freight charges are calculated during the checkout process. Outriggers and very large items incur a higher freight cost than normal due to their size/weight and whether they are deemed Dangerous Goods. These items will always be shipped separately from other items. We ask that you purchase these items in a separate transaction from other goods to avoid incurring a high freight charge for the smaller items.

By placing your order you are accepting that these companies will be responsible for carrying your goods.

Please note for your protection that a signature is required for all deliveries. The goods become the recipient’s property and responsibility once they have left our premises.

If goods are lost or damaged in transit, please contact Post Haste on 0800 002 833 or email rotoruacs@posthaste.co.nz within 5 business days with your tracking number. They will cover your loss in the event of non-delivery or damage either by reimbursing you or arranging for us to replace the goods.

You will receive an email that confirms that your order has been dispatched.

To ensure successful delivery, please provide a delivery address where someone will be present during business hours to sign for the receipt of your package. You can track your order by entering the tracking number emailed to you in the dispatch email, into the Post Haste web site.

If you can’t be there to sign for the delivery, visit the Post Haste website and organise a My Drop Zone safe area at home.

Alternative freight free delivery option for New Zealand buyers

You have the option at checkout time of having your parcel delivered to your nominated dealer for you to collect and we will pay your freight. Some products displayed are exclusive to specific sports goods retail outlets and are not available to be purchased on this site.  These products are clearly noted together with the outlets where they will be available.

Returns & Refunds

Kilwell Sports is committed to 100% customer satisfaction!

We know that sometimes it is hard to always choose the perfect product whilst online and that is why we offer a generous exchange and refund process.

POLICY:

• Kilwell Sports Online Store is happy to honour customers with an exchange or refund within 30 days of purchase for any Kilwell goods.
• Any returns, exchange or refund will be processed by Kilwell only if the customer has purchased the product/s through our official Kilwell website www.kilwell.co.nz
• Items purchased through retail stores must be returned to the place of purchase for exchange/refund.
• Items purchased through 3rd party websites must be returned to the place of purchase for exchange/refund.
• Any customer wishing for direct exchange or refund must complete the below steps.
• All costs associated with the return of goods are the sole responsibility of the consumer.
• The original shipping costs are not refundable, however if Kilwell have supplied the wrong or faulty goods, we will reimburse you in full.
• Any customer wishing for a direct exchange or refund must send back the purchased Kilwell goods in their original and unused condition in the original packaging. Products cannot be returned if they have been engraved, modified, damaged, altered or sized.
• Any products that are returned that do not comply with original condition standards will be sent back to you at your expense.
• Restrictions and exceptions resulting from New Zealand Copyright laws mean we are unable to refund or exchange DVD’s.

RETURNS PROCEDURE:

STEP 1:

Phone Kilwell Customer Service on 07 345 9094 and ask for an RA number (Returns Authorisation). Explain your reason for return.

Put this number on the outside of your parcel AND on any documentation you put inside the parcel, which should include your:

• Name
• RA Number
• Return address (if exchanging items)
• Phone number

STEP 2:

Upon receiving the goods at Kilwell Head Office one of our friendly customer service team members will issue a direct exchange or refund. If your exchange requires extra payment we will contact you.

Please allow up to 7 days for this exchange or refund to be processed.

(Please note that lost or damaged in transit claims must be made to the courier company who can be contacted on 0800 002 833 or rotoruacs@posthaste.co.nz.)

Warranty

While the Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act provide the basis for Kilwell’s returns policy, we in fact go above and beyond the expectation of these two statutory laws.

We offer a LIFETIME WARRANTY on all KILWELL branded products.  This Kilwell branded products lifetime warranty against faulty materials, components and workmanship covers the lifetime of the product. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only.

All other products supplied by Kilwell are vigorously tested to international standards. However, as with any products, there is always the possibility that a product may exhibit a fault, which is why we honour the extended International warranties provided by companies we represent.

Warranty Repairs

If the product you have purchased has a manufacturing defect or has failed please contact us.

Manufacturing defects do not include normal wear and tear or failure from careless or improper use.

If the returned product is under warranty, the repair and return to you will be at our expense.

If the product is out of warranty, and we are able to have the product repaired, we will offer you this service and advise the cost for your consideration.

Out of Stock items

We work hard to ensure our stock level information is correct and we will not accept your order if we know your selected item is not available.  However should we be unable for any reason, be unable to fill your order, you will be notified and your credit card refunded.

Kilwell owns all copyright and other intellectual property in this site. Everything on this site, unless otherwise stated, is copyright.

Kilwell welcomes the use of this site for personal use, non-commercial use, research or study – provided the user acknowledges all copyright and other notices contained in the content.
